Searching for school pupil clues

These pictures were given to the Gazette be one of our readers, and now we are searching for some more information about them.

They were taken by a former teacher, possibly some time in the 1970s.

It is thought that the pupils were from a school in Newbiggin and that they were on a field study trip to Newton-by-the-Sea.

We would love to find out a bit more about the pictures and who is in them.
