Popular pub has a new look
A £140,000 joint refurbishment has been carried out by Star Pubs & Bars and licensees Rachel and Daniel Curtis.
The new look is a classic country pub with a 21st century touch. It now has a comfy and cosy ambience with wooden panelling and an abundance of greens and earthy colours and country tweed upholstery, as well as new carpeting, slate and wooden flooring.

The number of covers at the pub has also increased by 25 per cent to 104.
Rachel said: “It’s transformed the pub.
“We have a loyal following, but that was because of the food and the friendly service we provide. It’s all come together now – the food, drink, service and the pub itself are all the same standard.
“Customers absolutely love the new look, as do we, and we’ve been really busy since we re-opened.”

He added: “The major refurbishment has created more space for diners and a comfortable, inviting interior, so they can now grow their business further.”
