Brave boy inspires charity walk
Seven-year-old Ollie Dryden, from Amble, has neurofibromatosis type one. It causes tumours to grow along the nerves, which can lead to a number of health issues.
Ollie, who endures daily difficulties related to the condition, has been supported by The Neuro Foundation.

Hide AdTo give something back to the charity, his mother Amy and other loved ones decided to organise fund-raising events in May, as part of NF Awareness Month.
Last Saturday, more than 30 people took part in a sponsored walk from Boulmer to Amble, raising hundreds of pounds. This Saturday, a coffee morning is being held at Amble’s Radcliffe Club from 10.30am, with stalls, inflatables and a raffle, among other activities.
